Last year, I posted an article with the same title as this post (see it here).
In this piece, I will present songs that I find inspirational about Hellas and Hellenes. I believe it is needed with the challenges that we will face in the years to come. We need to be reminded of who we truly are – what we represent not only for ourselves but for the rest of humanity, too.
The first song entitled Do not fight the Greek, has a line that I would like to share before I present the video:
Την μάχη κι αν την κέρδισες, τον πόλεμο τον χάνεις.
(Even if you win the battle, you will lose the war.)
Since it is Easter, I have included the English translation of the Ancient Greek psalm “Christ is Risen” (see the video above) for your convenience (you will find the source of the translation, here):
