For the purposes of this article, Truth will be defined as it is in the Bible being synonymous with reality, or fact: truth, but not merely truth as spoken; truth of idea, reality, sincerity, truth in the moral sphere, divine truth revealed to man, straightforwardness. [In ancient Greek culture, 225 (alḗtheia) was synonymous for “reality” as the opposite of illusion, i.e. fact.]

Belief: 1. an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof.

“his belief in extra terrestrial life”
  • something one accepts as true or real; a firmly held opinion.

“we’re prepared to fight for our beliefs”

  • a religious conviction.
 “Christian beliefs”
2. trust, faith, or confidence in (someone or something).
When something is real, or factual, it does not require someone’s belief, or opinion, to be true. Facts are true because they are based on evidence – they are verifiable. An example that I will focus on here is genetics, specifically those related to the sex chromosomes. There are two sex chromosomes: the X (female) chromosome and the Y (male) chromosome. Females have two X chromosomes (XX) and males have an X and a Y chromosome (XY). The X is required for both females and males to exist. In fact, males are half female purely from a scientific, factual basis. Since the X chromosome is required for life at the level of DNA – the coding, or blueprint for life – then the female is the Source of Life. I have already gone into detail about this in the following article where I demonstrate that this knowledge is occulted in the Bible.

So, purely based on fact, I reject the belief that God/the Source of Life, is male. If this were true, then males would have two Y chromosomes and females would have an X and a Y chromosome, but this is not the reality of the situation now is it?
