Revelation 13: 16-18 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[a] That number is 666.
When I was in my twenties, I met several Christians who warned me about The Mark of the Beast. At the time, I thought they were paranoid but…boy, oh boy, were they right.
Those prophetic Biblical verses are what we are currently experiencing with the push toward Digital IDs: a cashless society.
Revelation 13:17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
The Digital IDs are numbers attached to people’s names. Under this system, individuals would only be identified (ID – acronym for identity) via a number. This is dehumanising since once names are removed as the source of human identification, people are turned into animals. Technically, people are already considered animals that exist only to serve those who rule – their Beasts of Burden, if you will. This is simply taking it up a notch by branding, or marking their beasts the way certain animals are branded/marked.
The difference being that human branding will be implemented via technology (i.e., digital chips; Revelation 13:16 to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads).
The Significance Of Names
Names connect people’s identities to their bloodlines – this way they know who they are, their history.
There is a greater significance to names that ties to the alphabet which ties to genetics – the blueprint, or coding of all forms of life. The numerical system that is now used worldwide, is in fact, artificial. (Learn more here.)
So, if human beings are only identified via this artificial, numerical system, then what does it make them, from a spiritual perspective?
