In 2013, I studied Alchemy. I took an online course before going to a conference in Seattle, Washington. I learned way more at the conference. I was surrounded by modern day Alchemists/Magicians – some of them looked like Merlin. It seemed as though I was living in another time and place, one very familiar to me.
The scientific side to Alchemy that involves creating medicines based on plants and astrology/astronomy, was interesting but way too complicated for me. The historical side of how this all developed, turned out to be false. I doubt that the people involved knew any of this – I simply happened to stumble upon the truth during my Biblical research. Specifically, my discovery of the book, The Greek Origin of Freemasonry, 1956, 2nd edition.
These Alchemists will tell you that all of this knowledge came from Egypt, when it actually came from Hellas (Greece). I recall them mentioning Hermes Trismegistus (Hermes Three Times Great), but he was a Hellene. The so-called Emerald Tablets were also of Hellenic origin (more on this below).
In one class, the Kabbalah was connected to Alchemy – I have already demonstrated in this article, that the knowledge on which this system is based, is also of Greek origin.
So, now to the evidence from The Greek Origin of Freemasonry, 1956, 2nd edition:
On page 117:
“The celestial Hermes or first Hermes was believed to have inscribed the sciences on the pillars found and deciphered by the Trismegistus Hermes.”
“And after this flood, many years, as the Chronicle telleth, these II pillars were found, and as the Polychronion saith that a great clerk, that man called Pythagoras, found the one and Hermes the philosopher found the other, and they taught forth the sciences that they found therein.”
Celestial Hermes: The Olympian (Mortal) God, Hermes.
The II Pillars: The ‘Emerald Tablets’.
The Flood: The world-wide flood that is mentioned in the Bible – it happened around twelve-thousand-years ago.
So, the Hellenes knew that a major cataclysm was coming and they prepared for it. The knowledge that was left behind was for all of humanity. This is why Pythagoras and Hermes traveled the world to teach it to other survivors of the Great Flood.
Athens was built around eleven-thousand-years ago (The Greek Origin of Freemasonry, p. 40), so it took about one-thousand-years after the flood for Hellenic civilization to be resurrected. It will be a far speedier recovery this time around.
