In my series of posts on the Hellenic (Greek) origin of things, I aim to point out where everything on the planet originated. Many of these things are now seen as flawed, or as responsible for the degradation of humanity, but this is the usual inversion of reality.

The West is not to blame for the sorry state of the world – only those who took what it offered and bastardized it for their own gain are responsible (as I outline in this article).

Remember this as you read these posts: all things purely Hellenic/Pelasgian were good and given freely to humanity.

From The Greek Origin of Freemasonry, 1956, 2nd edition, p. 143:

“…Dionysos, the first builder of theatres…”

“Dionysos is composed of two Greek words, Dios or Zeus, and Nous or mind, the divine spirit of Zeus.”

Zeus (Dios/Dias: Δíας) was an Olympian (mortal) God, which made his son, Dionysos, mortal, too. (The mother of Dionysos – Semele or Soumela – was a mortal woman.)

I do not trust mainstream interpretations of Dionysos or any other Hellenic Gods/Goddesses. I have discovered things via my own research that often contradict, or are very different to the accepted narratives. Language, names in particular, were/are very important to the Hellenes. The names given to people, places and things describe who they are, or what they represent. I have already dealt with this issue in relation to Pandora and Nemesis. The name IS the thing, or the individual, as the case may be.

The architecture of theatres is used in many different ways all over the world: live theatre shows, cinemas, sports arenas, concert halls, and most importantly, lecture theatres at universities. Universities themselves were first founded in Hellas and were of Masonic origin (learn more here).

The Hellenes were also the first architects on planet Earth (learn more here & here).
